Gosatomnadzor takes part in the XIII International Forum ATOMEXPO-2024
On March 25, 2024, the two-day International Forum ATOMEXPO-2024, one of the largest international events in the nuclear industry, was opened at the Sirius Science and Art Park in Sochi. The event is held with the support of Rosatom State Corporation.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Alexey Likhachev, Director General of Rosatom State Corporation, Mr. Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Ms. Sama Bilbao y León, Head of the World Nuclear Association (WNA), and other guests.
The Forum is being held for the thirteenth time. In 2024, more than 4500 specialists from 75 countries took part in it. The keynote of ATOMEXPO-2024 is the fourth generation of reactor technologies and leadership of the Russian Federation in this field.
Ms. Olga Lugovskaya, Head of Gosatomnadzor, Mr. Vigen Marukhyan, Head of the Division of Nuclear Safety Regulation, and Mr. Dmitry Pavlov, Head of the Division of Radioactive Waste and Nuclear Legacy Sites Management, are among the forum participants.
