Gosatomnadzor issued a work permit to the Chief Engineer of the Belarusian NPP
On May 28, 2024, Gosatomnadzor issued to Mr. Anatoly Bondar, First Deputy General Director – Chief Engineer of the Belarusian NPP, a permit for the right to carry out activities in the field of atomic energy use (instead of the previously issued one dated 04.02.2019).
Permit enables the Chief Engineer to manage the operating organization by virtue of his position and to perform functions of the General Director of the RUE “Belarusian NPP”.
While handing over the permit, Ms. Olga Lugovskaya, Head of Gosatomnadzor, emphasized the special requirements regarding the necessity to transfer accumulated knowledge on nuclear and radiation safety to the NPP employees enrolled in the personnel reserve for managerial positions.
Following the procedure, Mr. Anatoly Bondar held a meeting with employees of the NPP and Gosatomnadzor in order to discuss the implementation of certain requirements of the legislation on nuclear and radiation safety.
