License for the right to conduct safety review was issued
On August 20, Gosatomnadzor issued a special permit (license) to the State Scientific Institution “Institute of Radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus” (IRB NASB) for the right to perform activities in the field of atomic energy and ionizing radiation sources use, which was amended to include services for conducting safety review in the field of ionizing radiation sources use.
According to the legislation on radiation safety and licensing, the special permit (license) No. 33134/64-4 of May 3, 2006 entitles the Institute to perform safety review of radiation safety of industrial and medical facilities where sources of ionizing radiation are used.
