Gosatomnadzor joined the Advisory Council of the CIS Basic Organization on the Development of National Nuclear Infrastructures

Employees of Gosatomnadzor took part in the first meeting of the Advisory Body of the Basic Organization of the Commonwealth of Independent States on the Development of National Nuclear Infrastructures.

During the meeting the members of the Advisory Body, including 2 employees of Gosatomnadzor, were introduced. Revisions of documents regulating the activities of the Advisory Body and the Basic Organization were considered and agreed upon in their essence.

Special attention was paid to the consideration of the draft Work Plan of the Basic Organization for 2025. During the discussions, the initiatives proposed by Gosatomnadzor were approved and agreed upon.

Event was held in an online format. Among the participants were representatives of various governmental authorities and organizations of the CIS member states, as well as the CIS Executive Committee.

Basic Organization of the CIS Member States on Issues of Development of National Nuclear Infrastructures was established by the Decision of the CIS Economic Council on December 8, 2023. The main objective of the Basic Organization is to provide support to relevant bodies, agencies and organizations involved in the development of national nuclear infrastructures of CIS member states.

Advisory Body of the Basic Organization is a public board of authorized representatives of specialized bodies, agencies and organizations of the CIS member states. The main objective of the Advisory Body is to determine strategic directions of activities and confirm annual work plans of the Basic Organization.
