Department of Nuclear and Radiation Safety of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus
Head of Gosatomnadzor Ms. Olga Lugovskaya took part in the meeting of the Council on Sustainable Development
During the meeting of the Council on Sustainable Development, which was held on April 23, 2024, Head of the Department for Nuclear and Radiation Safety Ms. Olga Lugovskaya made a report “Transformation of approaches to ensuring safety of the Chernobyl regions in the context of the implementation of a unified state policy in the field of nuclear and radiation safety”.
The event was arranged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus in cooperation with the UN Country Team in Belarus and was dedicated to the International Day of Remembrance of the Chernobyl Disaster.
The meeting was attended by specialists of the state authorities and organizations. Representatives of the diplomatic corps of the Republic of Belarus were also invited to participate in the Council on Sustainable Development.
