Regulatory authorities of Belarus and Slovenia in the field of nuclear and radiation safety agreed on bilateral cooperation development
The working meeting of representatives of Gosatomnadzor and delegation of the regulatory authority in the field of nuclear and radiation safety of Slovenia headed by Andrej Stritar was held on the 61st IAEA ongoing General Conference in Vienna on September 20, 2017.
During the meeting the parties agreed onbilateral cooperation development and its formalization (relevant agreement preparation). Belarusian side identified the following topics:
Implementation and development of an integrated management system in the regulatory body and the licensees;
technical support system development for the regulatory body in the field of nuclear and radiation safety;
Nuclear power plants operation supervision, including the usage of integrated approach in its implementation;
Interaction with the neighboring countries, including the usage of modern approaches in terms of emergency preparedness and response.
